I always loved watching and reading fairytales as a kid, but as I got older, I wanted less “princess finding her prince charming” and more “queen fighting alongside their king”. So for my stories, you can expect much more adult content. There can be material that is difficult to read. Chapter 35 Guide to Magic Acknowledgments Take Note About Author Chapter 1 The sounds of my stepsister’s moans greeted me as I walked through the kitchen. I took a deep breath and prepared myself to interrupt her little tryst. My father built our home with a door leading out of the pantry to make it easier to access when bringing home goods. Though, its primary use now was enabling Rasha with a way to sneak in whoever caught her eye. I padded to the pantry with her dress in hand, hoping that if she was ready when Prina woke up, it would calm her mother, and with any luck, she’d be more than willing to hear out my request. It was doubtful, but I couldn’t pass up the chance. “Rasha!” I whispered from outside the room. A man grunted, and I heard her shush him. “What are you thinking? If Prina catches you down here, even the fucking Fae won’t be able to help you.” “I’m coming,” Daine said right before letting out a grunt. He was Rasha’s current interest, a problem my life didn’t need. It didn’t matter that Rasha brought him here. I’d get blamed for letting her do it, as if it was my job to look after her. “Not inside me!” Rasha screeched. At least she had the sense not to let herself get pregnant. Her mother, while harsh on me, was lenient with her own girls. However, if Rasha got pregnant, I couldn’t imagine what Prina would do. I pounded my head on the door, blocking out the sound of him finishing and willing them to hurry. “Cover yourself,” I said as I entered, careful to avert my eyes as Daine shoved his prick back into his pants. The pantry doubled as a makeshift laundry room, so I wasn’t surprised to see Rasha lying on a pile of clothes until I realized she was cleaning herself up with— “My dress!” I yelled as I ripped the now sullied garment out of her hands. I tossed it to the ground and glared at her. “What is wrong with you?” She shrugged on a robe and rolled her eyes at me. “Ugh, Summer. You can wash it.” “I needed it today.” Pacing the room, I wondered how she always managed to completely fuck me at every turn. Everything I owned ended up taken, tarnished, or trashed by the sisters, and their mother didn’t bother to replace any of my ruined items. This was just another careless thing she’d done that I would suffer for. “You’re so wound up. Do I need to help you relax like your sister?” Daine’s eyes traveled down my body as he licked his lips. “We aren’t sisters,” Rasha and I chorused. She shot me a look, making me roll my eyes. It shouldn’t have surprised me that this was all about sex for him. I thought she liked him, but perhaps what she liked was his cock. Either way, this was risky, and even if they loved each other, which they didn’t, it wasn’t worth inciting Prina’s ire or ruining Rasha’s future prospects. “Get out,” I told him. “Fine.” He scooped his shirt off the floor and smirked at Rasha. “I’ll see you tonight.” “You will not.” He cocked his head, and I closed the distance between us. I used my height to my advantage, looking him directly in the eye. “I’m not dealing with this tonight. If you come here, I will hurt you. Am I clear?” “Yeah right.” He wasn’t taking me seriously. I turnt away, my fist clenched as I grabbed the bread knife from the shelf. When I spun around, brandishing the blade at him,
