If I let something as banal as a heat disrupt my day-to-day, I didn’t deserve to have a crew that respected me. Ugh. I blew out a long, warm breath, watching in the mirror as my chest heaved, pressing up towards the neckline. The usually deep, tawny hue of my skin was awash in red undertones, showing clearly through the open vee of the parted fabric.
