His well-formed mouth making the word mesa sound like a dirty secret. His smooth baritone voice made me feel like he was saying filthy things when I knew he was just talking about an order of tables. At least that’s what I remember from high school Spanish. I couldn’t stop gazing at his full lips as he spoke the language with such fluency. “No voy a pagar.” His commanding voice gave me chills. Brushing his hair back I made sure his haircut looked clean and even. Lincoln always kept his hair a little on the longer side, styled back and effortless. While he continued his conversation through his air-pods, I pulled out my edgers and worked on his hairline I tried to slow my racing heart, but I knew there was no point. I would stay in a constant state of arousal while he was here. Lincoln was one of the most attractive men I had ever met in my life. He always came dressed in a suit, his jacket accentuated his broad shoulders, and occasionally, when he only wore a dress shirt, it looked like it might rip if he didn’t sit still. His blue eyes were hooded with thick eyebrows, an almost straight nose, a week’s worth of stubble and those plump lips. His lips looked like they were made for kissing, constantly looking like he was pouting. He was almost too handsome. My God, he could ask me for anything, and I would give it to him. “Almost done, Lola?” Lincoln asked me. I flinched as he pulled me from my daydream. “Uh, yeah. I just need to get around your ears and then we can get you shampooed.” I willed my face to stay neutral, hoping a blush wasn’t showing or worse, that he could see I was massively turned on. “I’m sorry, I won’t have time for a shampoo.” I felt him looking at me through the mirror and then glance at his watch. I grabbed my blow dryer, blowing off all the excess hair, and grabbed a towel to dust his neck as I took the cape off. “I’m sorry I’m in a rush, but thank you, Lola.” He stood up, looking down at me. He was easily over six feet tall, almost dwarfing my five-foot, four frame. “No problem.” I said, laying the cape over the back of my chair. “If you have time let’s get you set up for your next cut.” I walked ahead of him to the front desk, feeling a shiver crawl up my back at the thought of him possibly staring at my ass. Wishful thinking? “I’ll have to call back and set something up because I really need to go. I appreciate you and I’m sorry I rushed you. Work had been very demanding today.” He pulled out his wallet while we stood in front of the receptionist. “Of course, just give Raven a call when you’re ready. Have a good evening.” I smiled at him. “Thank you.
