Listen to yourself, dude,” Fingers said. “I get that you’re upset. I totally do, but this isn’t the way. You’ve got to control yourself.” “Are you thinking about the bigger picture or not?” Gears asked. “With all due respect, Stax, if you kill her now, you’re going to miss out on all of the valuable information she has. Think about it, she’s the one responsible for hurting you, but if you do kill her, we’ll never find out the information we need on Jacinto so we can take him down.” In a way, Gears was right. I looked over at Pipe, one of the newbies. Even though I knew it’d been a long time since I’d been here, it felt like I was back with the boys. “Perhaps you’re right.” “I know that I’m right, Stax. You’ve been a strong leader. You should take it easy, and also listen to us. We’ve helped keep this show going since you were gone,” he said.
