In Fated to the Dragon Prince, Dariel meets Curren at the funeral of the fire king, Curren's father. Dariel is one of the last remaining mortals hiding out in the mountains bordering the city. Curren is a dragon shifter, a prince who will have to take over the throne now that his father has passed away. When their eyes meet, though, something sparks between them. Curren takes Dariel back to his castle and tells him that they're fated to be together. While Dariel is still struggling with this discovery, dragons of the ice clan arrive at the castle to challenge Curren's claim on the throne. They argue that Curren was never meant to be a king. It was always supposed to be Curren's twin brother Nevin, who is dying of the same disease that killed the king. It is decided that Curren and the son of the ice queen, Prince Earnan, will undergo several trials to see who is better suited to wear the crown. Halfway through the trials, however, Earnan discovers his mate in Dariel's friend Ben, who is promptly taken away by the queen in order to keep Earnan in line. To free him, Earnan confesses to Curren that the queen is responsible for the death of the king, as well as Nevin's disease. Curren kills the queen, and Earnan surrenders the last trial. When Ben is brought back to the castle, it is discovered that he is not only Earnan's mate, but also Nevin's, curing Nevin of the disease that was about to claim his life. Now Ben has to decide which mate to go with. CHAPTER ONE Ben had never been this hard in his life. He was sandwiched between two dragons. Heated, naked skin pressed against his on all sides. Nevin rested on top of him, the fire prince’s kiss as hot as the flames he breathed as he claimed Ben’s lips. It was all Ben could do to open his mouth and let the sensation take him. He couldn’t move, could hardly even draw a breath with Earnan holding him in place from behind and Earnan’s hard cock nestling Ben’s crack, seconds away from breaching. Fuck, he wanted that.
