Please feel free to message me directly if you have any concerns or questions. My father betrayed me. He took them from me. And because of him, I’m now in the hands of the Volkovs. They want me to be the good little princess and marry Maxim. That’s not going to happen. I’ll show them what a true Mafia princess I am. Maxim Volkov and Lorcan Murphy are going to wish they didn’t cross me. Nothing is going to stop me from getting my revenge. Maxim is my enemy. Lorcan is my nightmare. But they will be nothing when I’m through with them. Chapter One Riona With a wicked grin, my father laughs as he holds his thumb over the detonator. “I hope you said your goodbyes.” He presses his thumb on the red button and my heart shatters as I watch the home I was coming back to explode with Enzo, Matteo, and Dante in it. Fire sweeps over the top of the trees in the distance and I scream out knowing this isn’t some messed up trick. "Nooo!” I hunch over in agony, pulling on the grips the two idiots have on my arms. Their fingers dig into my skin and fury courses through me. With a vengeful scream, I break the ties on my wrists and rip my arms from their hold. I throw my elbow into the idiot on my right’s throat, making him choke, and grab his gun, sending one shot each into his and the other idiot’s chest. Before their bodies hit the ground behind me, my gun is aimed at my father’s head. He killed them. He killed the men I love. I clench my teeth as I growl, letting my anger overcome me. "Riona, no." Cyrus charges at me and I turn to him with a smile. "I told you." I pull the trigger, shooting him in between his eyes. Turning back to Lorcan, I aim the gun again at his smiling face. "You won't shoot me, Riona. I'm your father." I see Ivan and Maxim escape for their car behind Lorcan. "No. Your betrayal makes you my enemy.” I squeeze the trigger, firing as a body slams into me, tackling me to the ground. My shot misses by a few inches and I roar out in frustration as I swing my fist back into the man’s face. Five men descend on me, wrestling me to the ground, getting the gun out of my hand and grabbing hold of my wrists and ankles, immobilizing me. My father’s black leather shoes appear in my line of vision and he crouches down by my face. "My sweet daughter, I know you didn't mean it." He reaches forward, petting my hair, and I pull away from his touch. "I can't wait until I walk you down the aisle." "You’ll never walk me down the aisle. Fathers walk their daughters down the aisle and you’re no longer my father." He grabs my face, turning it at a weird angle so our matching green eyes connect. "You're a mafia princess and you will act like it. You have no more freedom, Riona. You will make your husband happy. You will mother his children. And you'll do it all with a smile on your face." I pull my face from Lorcan’s hold and arch myself up so I’m looking up at him. "I am a mafia princess. Someone who can't be shackled. Someone who can't be tamed. Someone who'll kill anyone who tries." Feet crunch on the ground behind Lorcan and Maxim looks down at me with a smile like he thinks he’s won the lottery. Lorcan stands as Maxim crouches down in front of me. He reaches out for me, grabbing my hair and pulling me up so I’m on my knees with five men still holding me. “I’m going to have so much fun breaking you, Princess.” Maxim slams his lips to mine and I try to pull back from his disgusting mouth but his hold doesn’t allow it, so I do what any girl would do. I bite down hard on his bottom lip, drawing blood and some skin as he pulls back. Maxim slaps me across the face and I spit his blood and skin from my mouth. I chuckle uncontrollably as I look back at Maxim, Lorcan and now Ivan. “You’re a little bitch. Someone who runs from a gun fight and
