Is it weird that I think she’s pretty? I’ve never liked a girl before, but for some reason, I can’t keep my eyes off of Ivy Sinclair as she sits out back by the pool with my older sister, Tia. They’re best friends so I see her all the time, and I never cared about the way the sun makes her black hair shine or how brightly she smiles when she laughs. Nor have I ever felt a funny feeling in my belly when she looks at me. My friends think girls are stupid, but I don’t think that way, not with Ivy. I’m standing behind the glass sliding door watching them when I see them get up from their chairs and walk toward me.
