The night I witnessed my family’s brutal massacre eleven years ago, and the night I was supposed to die too. I didn’t, obviously. But the anniversary of their deaths haunts me this time of year and there is only one way to stay sane. Distraction. The best distraction I can hope for is a huge dick attached to a guy who isn’t a total loser. If he can find my clit, then I consider that a real win. Which is why instead of spending this night with my friends and family, I’m at Masked, Reaper Falls’ notorious kinky sex club. I turn to face a masked man, eyeing him over my flute of champagne. Strong jaw, lush lips, and a few inches taller than me, he’s traditionally attractive. “Did what hurt?” I ask, unsure of what he’s referring to. “When you fell from heaven, angel?” He smiles, showing perfect teeth. I stare at him, any initial attraction I felt is snuffed out by that terrible pickup line. Pursing my lips, I turn back toward the bar, giving him my cold shoulder. Fucking frat boys. Where did they even learn these kinds of corny as fuck lines? Unfortunately, Frat Boy doesn't take the hint. He moves in beside me, so close his arm brushes against my shoulder. I side-eye him, noticing his gaze latch onto my breasts and brace myself for whatever shit that’s going to come out of his mouth next. “Your breasts remind me of Mount Rushmore—my face should really be among them. Don’t you agree?” He smooths his thumb across his pouty lower lip. Is that supposed to be seductive? This time, I roll my eyes. “You’ve got to be kidding me.” “What’s that supposed to mean?” His eyes finally find mine, and cloud with confusion. “I’m trying to tell you that you’re fine. Frat Boy steps into my line of sight, causing irritation to coil tight in my stomach, and I arch a haughty brow at him. “What’s the matter?
