The storm has calmed and we can finally walk hand in hand, bathed in light. Thank you to all my teams, friends, family, and readers that have supported me and that love my characters (sometimes more than I do). A special thanks to my partner, best friend, and happily ever after. You, my love, inspire me in ways I could have never dreamed were possible. Thank you for loving me. Note From the Author This is book two in my Kingdom of Lunaria series. If you have not read the first book, Lunaria Awakened, I highly suggest you go do that first or you will get lost in this one. This book takes place in a dimension for the supernatural races. It is named Myrtonia. This realm overlays the Earth realm, and the cultures are similar. Some important information about the characters: Amaris was raised in the part of the realm overlaying Arkansas, and the college is also located here. Atticus is from the part that overlays Texas. Lykos is from the packlands that overlay Greece. Andri is from the compound located over Japan. The kingdom of Lunaria is deep in the Peruvian Rainforest in a pocket dimension. I hope this helps all of you! I’m stunned. The barrier that hid the kingdom of Lunaria has fallen and the last person I ever expected to be here is welcoming me in as the princess. Selene, my teacher, and friend. So many questions are racing through my mind, and I can’t seem to find words to speak. My men’s comforting hands are resting in various places on my body, lending me their strength as I find mine wavering. “Dear child, I know you are confused and have a lot of questions. Rest assured, they will all be answered in the days to come as you integrate your life with that of being a princess, and Amaris, make no mistake, you are indeed a princess. Follow me and I will show you to your rooms and we can discuss more in the morning.” Selene walks toward the castle that I still can’t believe I’m seeing, but pauses when she realizes I’m not following. Raising a manicured eyebrow in question, she glances at me over her shoulder. “Are you coming, or would you rather wait until the barrier rises back up? Which, it certainly will at sunrise.” Her words break me from my prison of confusion, and I trudge forward, dragging my feet that feel oddly like cast iron. My men follow silently behind, their hands never breaking contact with one part of my body or another, and I couldn’t be more thankful. I would probably topple over from sheer exhaustion if not for their constant contact. Selene guides us to the tower on the right with a full moon symbol and a lilac-purple flag billowing in the strong, cool breeze. As we approach, there are two guards dressed in black dress pants with purple long-sleeve shirts with a symbol etched into the right breast pocket of the four main phases of the moon. It’s not lost on me that my bonds and my bondmarks create that symbol when put together. Fate’s a fickle thing. The guards pull open the doors as we approach and once again, my breath is stolen from my lungs. The marble floors are a bright white with shimmering silver woven throughout, making them shine as the fluorescent lights hit them. The walls are pale grey with sky blue and royal purple silk ribbons cascading down them making the foyer look over forty feet tall with a crystal chandelier the shape of a crescent moon, that is over ten feet wide, casting its reflections on the walls,
