Within these pages you will find characters embracing love. Whether it is from their first love, a new love, or a lover that is more than meets the eye. And it is my hope for all of you lovely readers that these stories not only brighten your day, but also serve as a sweet (and hella spicy) reminder to do the same. The world right now can be trying, but learning to love yourself and how to let love in when it comes, doesn’t have to be. Embrace that love when you can, and cherish every second. With that said, please enjoy reading every page of Cupid’s Kiss! -K. McCoy Venus Next Door Niccoyan Zheng Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Description Isaac Lam likes his quiet non-festive cul-de-sac just the way it is. Everyone stays to themselves and minds their own business. One visit from his new neighbour Venus 'Vee' Desmond and he senses things are about to change. Vee is a new homeowner looking forward to filling her new home and neighbours with as much cheer as they can stand. Except Isaac wants no part of it. Vee gets off on the wrong foot with Isaac, but that does little to squelch the attraction that they have for each other. Can one snowy stormy night bring them together? Or will it push them further apart? To EZ, my everyday Valentine. Cupid did such a great job. xoxo Please Be Aware / Grammatical Note: Things to beware of in this story: adult language, graphic sexual content. 🍁Side note, I am Canadian, and the story’s location is in Canada. He’s my next-door neighbour, and he took an instant dislike to me from the moment I moved into our quiet cul-de-sac. It was two days before Valentine’s Day, and Vee was outside putting on the final touches to her holiday décor. The cul-de-sac in the quiet city on the outskirts of Toronto was cold, quiet, and dark. The sun had already set, and all the other residents were nestled away in their homes. However, there was no other place Vee would rather be. It was her love of all things holidays, which drove her to celebrate them
