The main character, Renée, is pretty broken and self-deprecating, so I implore you to give her a chance to evolve throughout the story. Some people are born with bounds of confidence, and others are not, and that’s okay. The world would be a boring place if we were all the same… This series will be a duology, so two books in total. While every effort has been made to remove errors and typos, some may still appear. Please kindly let me know via email [email protected], and I can have them fixed. I am British, so some British spellings may have been missed, too. And lastly, you will be assured to know that no animals are harmed in this story. The dog has a HEA and the cat. I should also note that great care should be taken when introducing a new pet into a home with preexisting pets, and proper research should be undertaken. Part Two isn't quite as sweet as Part One. There is mention of gangs, drug use, and drug dealing, and one character openly smokes cannabis, and there is a triggering hospital scene and offscreen gun crime. There is also some online trolling and bullying too, implied abuse, and one female character makes false allegations about several male characters. There is a scene where the same character goads one of the male characters to use force on her, and that may be triggering to some readers. The comic book convention (Comic-Con) depicted in this story is not based on any real show or event. All celeb characters are purely fictional too, and any real-life likenesses are merely coincidental. Plus, there is a one-eyed cat, which may upset more sensitive readers. There is a male character who openly insults a female character about her looks, but bad things happen to him and he gets what he deserves. It is also mentioned that one character wears Botox, and one character is rather opposed to it, but I have no personal qualms myself about people who wear Botox. There are steamy scenes, of course, and breeding kink and chase scenes, but it's all consensual. Just be assured that all the bad things happen outside the pack. The police have warned me not to interact with Mr. Unknown, but I don’t see what further harm it would do. They don’t know that he has continued to message me beyond the initial investigation, and I should really go to the police so they can track him down and lock him away for good.
