 …During my school days, I read a poem;
 “A man of words and not of deedsis like a garden full of weedsand when the weeds begin to growit's like a garden full of snowand when the snow begins to fallit's like a bird upon the walland when the bird away does flyit's like an eagle in the skyand when the sky begins to roarit's like a lion at the doorand when the door begins to crackit's like a stick across your backand when your back begins to smartit's like a penknife in your heartand when your heart begins to bleedyou're dead, and dead, and dead indeed.”― Percy B.  .. And fell in love with poetry. Never did I think though, that I will end up writing a poem let alone a book, but that’s life. You cannot do what you want to do but end up doing what you never believed you would. For me that was writing a poetic verse, a poem, a poetry book. It was not as if I planned writing it, over the years, during different times, phases of life, happy and sad moments, when I needed to express my feelings, I kept on writing stuff off and on my blog and then one day I thought, why not collect everything and publish a book. I have tried to compile a variety of genres here such as love, patriotism, sadness, happiness, humour, real life events, dialogues, emotions, thoughts, religion, and observations. I

 I've missed your mornings
 i've missed your nights
 i've missed the noise
 ... and the chirping bird’s voice
 
 i've missed all the favourite foods
 i've missed all the different tastes
 i've missed all the haphazardness
 .. and everlasting smile on people's face.
 
 i've missed the tall mountains,
 beautiful beaches, hot and cold deserts
 and stretch of lush terrain
 i've missed your calmness,
 peace, smell, soil and rain
 
 i've missed all the loved ones,
 i've missed all the family and fun
 i've missed the sparkling lights
 ...and colourful flying kites
 
 i've missed everything here and there
 but more than anything
 
 i've missed being in Pakistan
