He couldn’t stop replaying the scene that just unfolded at the fucking abortion clinic. He pulled in front of the building and stopped abruptly. Jumping out of the car, he ran to the door when he saw Aaliyah and London coming out of the building. He noticed London holding onto her arm as they walked out together. He could tell that she had been crying. Their eyes locked when he approached the door. Christos saw Aaliyah's driver and bodyguard quickly approach. He didn’t give a fuck about them, he needed to talk to Aaliyah. He could see them out of the corner of his eyes as they jumped out of the car and were by her side within seconds. “What are you doing here?” Aaliyah asked as he closed the gap between them. “What are YOU doing here, Lei?” His teeth were clenched as he tried to contain his anger. He saw Aaliyah looking around. “I’m not having this conversation with you out here.” “We haven’t had a conversation at all. Now answer my question. What the hell are you doing here?” Christos asked again as he moved closer. Neil stood between Aaliyah and Christos. “Get the fuck out of my way,” Christos growled. “Stop it Christos,” Aaliyah yelled. “Please talk to your brother. I need to get Aaliyah home.” London said as she looked past Christos. Markos was approaching. “What the fuck did you do Lei?” Christos asked as their eyes locked again “I came here because I didn’t want to bring a child into your violent world. That’s why I’m here.” She said as she walked by him. Aaliyah’s words hit him like a punch in his gut. He grabbed her arm and Neil removed his hands. “Fucking touch me again and it will be your last.” Christos growled. “Neil, can you give me and Mr. Laskaris a second?” Neil’s eyes stayed glued on Christos but didn’t move. “Please, Neil, I need to have a private word with him,” Aaliyah said in a comforting tone as Christos glared at him. Neil backed up but stayed within arm’s length of them. “So, you killed my child because my lifestyle makes you uncomfortable?” He asked in a low tone as he leaned into her. “I made a choice that I felt was the best for me. Goodbye Christos.” Aaliyah said as she started to walk away, but Christos blocked her path. Markos grabbed his arm. “Let’s go Christos, you can’t have this conversation here. Look at the pain in her face. Don’t do this to her.” Markos whispered in his ear.
