Chester University and its associated Chester University Senior College is, to my knowledge, an utterly fictional scenario. It is based on combining two things; my vague understanding of the US college system, and the school I went to for my final year which was a Year 11 and 12 high school run at one of Adelaide’s universities that acted as a bridge between high school and uni. I have set Chester University up so it works for what I wanted to do with the plot and am hoping you can suspend any potential disbelief at the cover and join me on what has been one of my favourite books to date. Love to Hate You is a standalone new adult, high school/university/college romance. It features (fr)enemies-to-lovers vibes, and an ex’s teammate who is also a best friend’s little sister. It’s full of alphaholes with secret hearts of gold, sassy women who won’t take their shit, awesome friendships, sibling rivalry, bed sharing for no purpose other than annoying each other, a Seven Minutes of Heaven self-fulfilling prophecy, and a whole lot of forbidden steam.
